A really great way to put dreams together.

I want to be a recording artiste and songwriter, and allow my knowledge in law to make us in the know of the law here, as well as to speak about justice in a way no one has ever used before.

Two of my friends want to be video game designers.

Another one wants to open a production house.

And here I was, thinking of this very wild dream :

Why not hold everything together into one single production house, and call it La Maison TNE ?

There, we wouldn't have copyright issues over theme songs anymore, and because both departments focus on creativity, ideas can be transferred from one department to the other. Also, when, say, there's an upcoming concert, we can join our ideas together ! Video games aren't just about battle systems - they're also about aesthetic ideas. I can let them do the credits and the extra bits, for example.

I'll talk to these partners about La Maison TNE. It is true that we're not gonna start off smooth sailing : the entertainment industry over here is an oligopoly - there are a few key players dominating the scene, and with them, money talks. The only company which has been able to break through thus far is Les Copaque Productions, because of their impressive CGI rendering, and they are now the rising stars in the market. Over here in La Maison TNE, we are problem children.

Deep down in my heart, I know, that if there's one person to overcome the likes of Nobuo Uematsu, Yoko Shimomura, Laurent Boutonnat, Jean-Pierre Pilot and Andrew Lloyd Webber, it's me. And if there's one company to be among the likes of Square-Enix, it's gotta be La Maison TNE. I dream of writing, performing on stage and releasing singles/albums alongside this, and being able to have a say in the creative process. I yearn for the implementation of constant improvement, and I want to make it such that all who participate in La Maison TNE enjoy their work.

I will be the epitome of the Boleh spirit.

It's a wild dream, but by the grace of God, it will happen.

Meanwhile, I've shared my audio drafts with quite a few people, and that's one way I'm using to gain support from the people around me, near and far. I've even let my friends on board Kingdom Hearts Wiki listen to them. Also, I'm contemplating making a name for myself during the soirée à la française on May 23rd : I'll make a cover of a song of my choice (I'm yet to choose, and tomorrow is already the 1st of May)... and I pray God that He may give me the courage to get up there, as well as the humility.

One size fits all ?

Remember my French blog, Jeunesse ?

I recently revamped it to make it look darker and more eccentric. To date I've received good oral response from friends - all of them told me that the background and the way the elements were arranged were very eye-catching and refreshing. I found the picture of the three chibi bombs somewhere (it was in the public domain) and I added glows onto my text for a club feel. It's mainly to celebrate the fact that I'm going legal this year - I'm turning eighteen ! (And for starters and non-Malaysians, eighteen is the legal age for clubbing, buying alcohol, ciggies etc. - not like I'm gonna do it anyway.)

Now, it seems like one size fits all : the same theme can be found on my desktop and on my phone (I created a theme for K550i too).

Screensaver image for K550i (or phones with resolution 176x220).

Jeunesse wallpaper for K550i (or phones with resolution 176x220).

Desktop wallpaper (960x720). You can find the exact same design on Jeunesse.

Desktop wallpaper, without side watermarks (960x720).

Completely filled desktop wallpaper (960x720). I'm currently using this one.

I know some of you might want the theme too - if you're supporting me and using Sony Ericsson K550i. The theme has got almost all the elements you see in the above wallpapers. If you use a different phone and would like to have the theme, I'll make it upon request. But note, Sony Ericsson users only !

So here is the theme (click).

I seriously wonder if I have to revamp this blog too. Should I ? Or should I just leave it as it is ?

You know what, never mind. I'll set up a poll for that one soon.

Moleskine entries (or, Aw crud !)

This journal isn't exactly a moleskine journal in the strictest sense of the word. I just turned it into one. It was actually supposed to be a yearly planner. But because there were lots of empty sheets at the back, I decided to write stuff in them. I'd record key events, ideas and my deepest thoughts - perhaps a strictly filtered version of what I write here on troisnyx* officiel, but in French, so that no one who reads it will understand. Also, my writing is almost illegible, as many people say...

I named this journal Rapport T (T stands for Ténèbres) – an exact translation of Re : Chain of Memories’ “D Report”, where D stands for Darkness. I've been doing every single entry in the Rapport T in metallic pen.

All pictures of the Rapport T are in their original size, and not cropped as I would usually do on troisnyx* officiel (portrait pictures 2MP, landscape pictures VGA) :

Plans for a Kingdom Hearts-themed party. Notice the Kingdom Hearts logo on the top left, the Keyblades on the bottom right, and six main characters in the middle.

This is the very first entry I did in the Rapport T. I had to tone down the artsy bits because I was going to insert a lot of text. This is the exact e-mail I sent to the attachée linguistique, Fabienne Ricordel, and her reply to me. Kept it for remembrance.

The post I did for my AS results. It was in doing this post that I learned a new technique - filling colour into silver pen so that it'd seep underneath. Take a good look at the words "J'ai reçu" (I received) and “Résultats” (results) - notice the subtle colour on top of the silver pen ?

My green metallic pen is still with Ms Sunbeam.

On another note, remember the High School Musical franchise ? I'm not a fan of it - not like I used to be. I watched the first and second instalments. I have to say that I loved the first one, but I didn't really like the second one. Zac Efron's hotness could very well be a redeeming factor, but that's all. HSM has totally stopped piquing my interest. So here I was, trying to wean myself off the High School Musical mania, when one day, I went into the master bedroom...

... and found THIS in the shelf !

Someone just had to spoil my day, didn't he ?

Apparently dad got this for Narin. I mean, the music isn't discord, but it isn't palatable for me anymore. Could she be watching it for the music/formations/choreography, or could she want it for Zac Efron's and Vanessa Anne Hudgens' apparent compatibility ?

Talking about High School Musical brings me to another thought : music. I'm still thinking about the trouble ahead in our musical endeavour, and how I'm gonna tell DK about this. It won't be easy, I know.

Aw crud, does it really have to be a chanson ? I'll die if that is the case. No one wants to work with me over French songs. And I mean no one. I hope Ricordel might lighten up about the song part... if I do tell her, that is.

The CHARITÉ symbol

It's about the same text as the one in the sidebar... only that this time, I did this !

Just like all my past symbols/montages, I did this one on PowerPoint. What do you think ?
Well, excuse me for not being able to do brushes. And if you guys can do some major improvements to the logo (if you feel there should be), you're most welcome to do so. Post the link to your improved picture in the comment box.
If this one gets good feedback, it'll end up at the album's back cover (while the text alone will make the front).

I finished transforming Jasvin's blog.

And do tell me what you think.

I transformed everything - posts, pictures, sidebar and all.

troisnyx* is turning into a blog designer !

Okay. Jasvin, my cousin, made a mess of her blog. I'm no pro designer, but from the look of it I knew she messed it. She begged me to refurbish it, and that I did. I haven't finished, though.

Now, click on her name and see how the blog currently looks.
I did it. In fact, I just did it.
She wanted something pink and starry, so I'm creating a pink starry heaven for her.

All that's left to do are the posts. I know, if Pasquale were to see that blog of hers, he'll puke. Clashing colours everywhere ! I gave Jasvin a long lecture on blogging and told her that there shouldn't be clashing colours, and that it's always better to leave the text as it is - dark grey !

(believe it or not, I was so sad that I almost forgot to put a title)

After lamenting because I got turned out from yay!everyday, I decided to see for myself what my heart could do in place of my hands.

This walking tree monster reminds me of the time we had our Form 4 drama. The then assistant class monitor, Sue Faye, had to play a walking tree monster !

And because Kingdom Hearts Coded is all about data, I thought of doing a data representation complete with binary figures.

No matter what people say about this thumbnail art, I do know one thing :
I did it with my heart.
Pasquale, if you do come across this post, do take note that some ideas have been taken from your site (like the tree monster for example).

Where did the yay ! go in yay!everyday ?

I was on Pasquale's site when I saw that he was linking to yay!everyday, a site for creative content and a spinoff from yay!monday.

Curious, and somewhat intrigued, I wanted to give it a shot. So I asked Pasquale, think I should go for this ? Without even hesitating he gave me an invite. With the kind of capacity I had : little paper, lots of pens, a defunct scanner and a 2.0 megapixel camera (i.e. my phone), I thought there'd be no harm trying.

But I was wrong.

No doubt, yay!everyday features good art. Very good art. It can sometimes be eccentric. But does it not feature stuff we come across everyday ? Aside from the fact that everyday, we can come across something weird ? Maybe, I'm just not fit to be one of the elite. Maybe, I don't have a place among top artistes. But can't people see some form of meaning in it ? Like how a rainbow would mean love and happiness, for example ? Like how I sometimes pour my heart into this stuff ?

No, the heart is an incomprehensible thing, and not everyone can see into it, I guess.

I'm sorry, Pasquale, to have screwed your invite, but the admin removed everything. I can never find my place there. troisnyx* is a nobody in that vast realm of art.

And to all at yay!everyday, happy trails to you until we meet again. That too, if we do.

AS law artwork ?

Regardez : these are some pictures of the AS Law notes I took down, uploaded by request.

Civil Justice System

Alternative Dispute Resolution & Tribunals
Trial Examination Discussion/Answers

Truth be told, I remember very well when there's lots of colour splashed all over the place. Highlighters, metallic G1s, coloured G2s, I used the whole lot of them just so that I could understand points of law. Some might argue and say that my notes are overdone, but well..... I can't help it. This is the way an artist thinks, and if I'm not structured, I'll have to confine myself to structure, but add an artistic touch to it.

YouthSays.com tees by Kunci's request

These are tees I made for YouthSays, by the request of a user named Kunci. For both ranges, black and white, the first one is the back design. The rest are to be displayed on the front.

The current discussion on the thread "YouthSays latest updates" has something gotta do with the creation of YouthSays tees. Take a look. And do note that I don't have Photoshop. (Darn, how many times do I have to tell my readers this ?) Click on the thumbnails to enlarge them. Oh, and since I've got no Photoshop, I can't put the blue parts in glitter like I badly wanted them to be.

What am I doing now ?

Well. Just to put it simply. I'm putting all my lyrics in hard copy. Sharing them with Adoravelle. Maybe if things go well, we can unite ? :)

Anyway. I sat up till 3 in the morning yesterday, working on the cover (yes, I wouldn't really think of working on the lyrics first because I have them in soft copy and I don't see the possibility of them being removed in the near future...) and I took some pictures this morning. I did the entire cover design - minimalistic, but fun.
That's all the drawing on the cover. Consider that the cover is A4 size.

A close-up of the manga version of us (from left : troisnyx*, Adoravelle). I edited the contrast just to make the entire background white (but looks like it didn't work anyway).

Oh. And in case you're wondering how I sign off, this is my signature. Expect this if things go well and I hold a performance of sorts. Oh, the words below it can be changed. ^^
Now, I'd better get to the Herculean task of assembling all the lyrics together, putting chords for them and writing programme notes.

Memoirs of AS Levels

These are some pictures I took over time, when I was in college/with my college friends - and they don't fall into any specific category...

This was some kind of sketch I did on my notepad. I was quite attracted to Les Copaque's "Upin & Ipin" and I decided to do something with that kind of feel. Sarong, kampung house and all. Oh, and in case you're wondering - the colours on this paper are done with highlighters.

Another notepad sketch - I was compelled to sketch a drummer. Again.
What was once known to be my Brickfields Asia College staple - stuff from 7-Eleven. Imagine - iced latte, Mars bars, Snickers, Cottage Fries... Now I'm observing a no-candy, no-chips, reduced carb diet.
This was taken when we first discovered that Brickfields Asia College finally got ownership of the first floor of Koponas. I know the one in yellow is Monisha, but I'm not sure who's pulling her...
I know Zunaidah, Monisha, and Andreanna are there, but I can't name the other two. And this was taken after the chairs were arranged in Koponas 1C.
We were lining up the chairs.
From left : Monisha, Andreanna, and (I forgot her name !).
I'm not sure if this is Prasad or Amandev... but he sure looks like he's having fun. :)
I remember those days where we used to sit at broken tables and study... (broken table or not, as long as we studied, it's fine !)
Oh. And this is Kimberly Monteiro. I don't know about that goofy face (I think she was trying out a pair of glasses), but yep - she's one of my best buds.
From left : Adoravelle, Johanna. Adoravelle was trying out Zazie's glasses (Zazie was not there), and yep, she sure looks hot ! Dang, I'll be missing her for the next one month. She's the life of the party.
This was the first time I came to college with a dishevelled fringe. I used to have my fringe straight and neatly combed. That day I didn't bother combing my fringe - though I wanted to have my hair tied. Well. It turned out okay, I guess... but I won't be keeping this look, that's for sure.
Towards Law Paper 1, we were studying in the library. From left : Adoravelle, Kimberly (and I forgot the name of the person next to her). And yes, we were told to keep quiet umpteen times ! I remember how pissed I was that I ended up telling Adoravelle and Kimberly, "One more time and I'm gonna give the librarian a piece of my mind."
My Criminal Process notes, along with several other sheets of paper. And yes, that's an orange G2. (Not like I did Criminal Process anyway, I hated that chapter.)
Yesterday was my final outing with them - I had to miss today's outing. Four of us - Adoravelle, Kimberly Tey, Kimberly Monteiro and I - went to Subway for lunch. I think by the time I took this pic most of us finished our sandwiches. Those whose faces - or bodies - I took - from left : Kimberly Tey and Kimberly Monteiro. (No, if you really insist on seeing Kimberly Tey's face there's always the Friend Grid.)
Fuh, that was one helluva six-incher.
And that's me. No, really, I was full !

Oh, and not to forget some more hand drawings I did in college. Ms Sunbeam noticed my habit of sketching on my left hand - notes, keywords, pictures, logos... This one's a sketch of my school choir logo (R stands for Ressonnant) along with their tagline (Together in Harmony). That day I was in Ressonnant mood ; I even changed my desktop wallpaper, my Windows Live Messenger and Live Mail looks - and made them all purple, just like Ressonnant's Live appearance.
And this one ? Well. This is the Latin spelling of Gaius Julius Caesar - GAIVS IVLIVS CÆSAR (pronounced gai-oos iuli-oos kaisar). I did it along with a wreath of laurel leaves as a good luck sign for my Literature Paper 4. One of the texts I was doing on that day was "Julius Caesar". No, not like this was of any use in the exam hall. When I went out of the exam hall Ms Sunbeam noticed my Caesar drawing and asked me about it.
I'm really gonna miss my AS days. A2 begins on the 24th of November, and chances are that we're gonna be grouped, or things are gonna change. Adieu, AS Levels.
