It was good news for them, and perhaps solace for me.

After four months of absence, which Daniel C and Cherryne were supposed to take (but ended up befalling me instead), I'm soon to return to the Sunset Band, tee-shirt and all. It was good news for them when I met them all yesterday and told them. Only that two familiar faces were not there anymore - Uncle Raymund and Uncle Luques. Uncle Raymund left Sunset Band for good, while Uncle Luques could not make it that particular week due to a performance outside.

Yep, it was good news for them, and perhaps solace for me. I would probably have less reason to cry.

I came there yesterday, with an exuberant "Bonsoir !" and everyone started to look up. I guess they were already waiting so long..... I missed them too. The mourning is almost over : after the 27th, life has to go on as usual. And I am not going to let anything or anyone hamper me anymore. Everyone gave me a hug. Aunty Betty gave me the tightest bear hug of the day. *smiles*

Sunset Band aside, I was having law lectures yesterday and today. Yesterday's class was taken by Ms Donna while today's class was taken by Kevin. And from what I hear and see, I guess each law lecturer has their own way of eliminating bummers from their respective classes. Consider this :

Mr Raja Singham would sit on the bummer.
Ms Donna would throw the bummer out the window.
Kevin would overdose the bummer with a full strip of Panadol.

Unique, ha ? All three of them are equally good... and equally funny. Today, Kevin said that he would sit on the naughty students but I corrected him saying that he would overdose them with Panadol (just like he did to Ms Sunbeam the other day) and the whole class was roaring with laughter.

Tomorrow we have the law mocks... and I have my driving exam. Truth be told, there may be delays in that driving exam such that I cannot take the mocks. Kevin told me to go for the part-timers session on Thursday and Friday. I will have to sit in college at night and do the test, imagine that ! I have never imagined sitting in college at night, but this will be my first time. They say night is where all hell breaks loose. And then again, part-timers are mostly working adults. Already exposed to the corruption of this world more than we full-timers are.

Anyways, wish me luck.
