Another ward ?

First ICU, then normal ward, then HDU. And in case you may not know what HDU means, HDU is High Dependency Unit.

Thing is, they took mom there to wean her off the ventilator - that will surely take some time (after the mishap done in IPR !) and now... everything seems okay except for the fact that she is still on the ventilator. Heart rate, blood pressure and the like - they're normal. Breathing is high (no worries).

She asked for a banana split complete with chocolate topping and peanuts..... =(

Right now she's still on enteral nutrition (liquid diet la !) She really misses food. I talked to Cheryl yesterday and the first thing she asked me was about mom's condition. I even told her about the banana split story.

Wait until she comes out of there. Once she can eat, walk, talk and breathe normally, we'll treat her to a banana split. Oh, and we'll satah some satay.
