Delacroix, troisnyxetienne* : We will see each other once again, someday.Today, in French class, I received the item I was waiting for : my C1 certificate ! I was elated !
The certificate bears the French Education Ministry's insignia - an acute accent E. So we can all guess where the qualification comes from...... ^_^The results I scrawled on the paper the other day were true. My best paper was the spoken test (Oral - Production) and the worst was the listening comprehension. They say... if we get any lower than 5 out of 25 then we are not entitled to the certificate. The clear mark for each section is 12. See, I was this close to actually not getting the cert.... (On another note, I was this close to passing my written comprehension !)
It may not have been a clear pass - it was just a pass - but I thank the Lord for helping me out. The exam... right up to the time I received the certificate - it was truly overwhelming ! They say people rarely sit for the C1.... and passes are even rarer.
And to those who examined me - we'll meet again someday, perhaps on a much lighter occasion. J'en suis confiante. :-)
