Today, we officially commence A2...

...with a literature class by Ms Sunbeam. Today we did the overview of King Lear, and because our language had to be corrected, we were given exercises.

But goodness me, today's class was absolutely hilarious !

"Gonerill and Regan had two husbands."
Most of us took it literally when it actually meant that Gonerill and Regan each had a husband. So we were laughing away to that !

"King Lear summoned his daughters to the court - palace court, not court of justice..."
(Wasn't that obvious ?)

"Today's drivers cannot neglect their own direct and personal SAFETY ????"
(And to be honest, I made the sentence even worse.)

"Everyone's drivers must enforce an effort."

"Idiomatic expressions, not idiotic expressions !"
That was Ms Sunbeam's reply after someone went on calling those expressions idiotic expressions. We all LOL-ed at that one.

"Is this the air-conditioner switch ?"
Immediately after that Ms Sunbeam turned off the light (instead of the air-conditioner) and left all of us screaming. :D

"Myself was there ?"

And we had a lot of fun. It was an all-girl class today (for the fact that all the boys were missing, and some others had gone off goodness knows where), and well, I guess they don't know what they're missing.......
