And goodness ! The C1 written papers are tomorrow morning !!!
Yesterday was already Friday night and it was almost midnight when I sent an SMS to DK, frantically, as it were.troisnyx* : Et la convocation alors ?
DK : No problem at all. You're already well-known among the whole lot of them.
I paused for a moment. What ? I guess it was no wonder that the attachée linguistique was staring at me fixedly, paying close attention to me. I guess it was no wonder that heads turned whenever the C1 was mentioned, and that everyone knew more or less who was sitting for that examination. And, I suppose that everyone’s either skeptical or happy about a seventeen-year-old taking on an examination for adults.
troisnyx* : So if they ask me for the convocation I just have to present the spoken exam docket ?
DK : Yeah, why not ?
troisnyx* : Alrighty ! Thanks.....
I was relieved. I knew the exam times, I didn't have to hurry to the nearest stationery shop to print out the files (RM1 per page, and the price is extorbitant), and all I had to do was just sit down, practise, pray and get ready. Then again, if there're any difficulties arising, I can always count on Kak Farita (the examination coordinator) or the director of the Alliance Française himself. :)
P.S. I've noticed that there's been a sudden, fluctuating increase in posts tagged "French-Speakers". Don't know if it'll settle anytime soon....... Perhaps at every phase of life a certain tag is more frequent. Like when I was preparing for the choir concours last year, there were so many posts tagged "Ressonnant Inc.", and yeah - you get the flow.
