Three down, three more to go...

Va-va-voom Wordsworth and The Mill on the Floss ! That was the best paper I've ever done in my entire life !!!

See, what previously happened was this : Ms Sunbeam was picking out some random topics - because Wordsworth was never questioned in an AS Level paper before. So in the class we mentioned several themes : solitude, mysticism and pantheism, the glorification of childhood... and when Adoravelle, Kimberly and I were discussing on the table this morning, we all said, it'd be a Godsend if the theme of solitude were to come out.

And yes, it was a Godsend. Solitude did come out.
troisnyx* is happy.

For each question on poetry and prose there is a short question and a passage-based question, we can answer either one. I attempted both short questions - the other question (which was for The Mill on the Floss) had something gotta do with "artificial social rules" - and I sailed through that one too, despite only reading 85% or less of the novel. To be honest, I worked harder on Wordsworth. But on the actual day of the exam - today, I wrote only two pages for Wordsworth - and four for The Mill on the Floss !

The other questions - both passage-based - which I didn't choose - the one on Wordsworth featured the longest poem EVER - The Prelude, Book First : Childhood and School-Time, while the one on The Mill on the Floss featured a passage from Chapter 2 (if I'm not mistaken ?) about Tom Tulliver's schooltime and difficulty in absorbing whatever he was taught while under the tutelage of Mr Stelling.

On another note, today was hectic. I went to college early, studied, went to the computer lab to test the connection, came out, studied again, went for lunch at Kaveri (and we were all pissed - the waiters were terrible !), rushed out of Kaveri and went up to 4A for the exam (and I tell you solemnly, I had extreme tachycardia doing that), got my stuff ready and sat for the exam.

Thank you, Soleil, for praying for us. :)

What a hectic life....

And same goes here...

It's not raining here, which make study in the room become like study in a sauna!

Gosh!

Anyway, kudos for you, the chapter went out in the paper...^0^

zara : studying in a sauna ? good grief, I can imagine what'd happen !

by the way, don't salute me - salute the teacher. She was the one who actually blurted it out, among other topics. And she kept us in her prayers before the exam !
