Narin's working on some kind of script.

She, being a Mass Communication student, has to film something. It's already her second semester and she's filming ! I was enthralled at first. Until......

.......the moment I looked at the script.

Fine, the plot was well-joined, but it was melodramatic. Too melodramatic for a five-minute short film. A little more could've been added in. Well, basically, it's a story of this couple, Xavier and Simran. Xavier is two-timing Simran while having an affair with his secretary. Simran, on the other hand, keeps on demanding Xavier to explain what is going on. He returns drunk almost every night and verbally abuses her. It so happens that it's the last straw, Simran packs her stuff and leaves, Xavier calls her hoping to get to the airport in twenty minutes to explain everything, but he doesn't have the chance to come clean : while on his way to his parking area he is knocked down by a car and dies.

I thought, where's the rising tension, where's the climax ? If this is a narrative, it isn't a complete one. Anyway, since it was voted in by most of her friends, Narin couldn't do anything much about the script. The entire thing was filmed in two places - Subang Jaya and KLIA. I hoped to save the film by adding in good instrumental background music. Three tracks were used :

# Yuna's Ballad - Noriko Matsueda & Takahito Eguchi, Final Fantasy X-2

But today Narin came home and told me the editing was terrible too. Apparently they didn't use the BGM we both planned. They went on with some other songs. I just hope they befit the film........ or else ! They won't hear the last from me !

Well, I just hope it isn't that bad. Will be putting up the film on troisnyx* officiel if it's released into the public domain, and also if Narin allows me. If I do put it up, scrutinise it all you want.

(oh, and comment on Narin's acting as Simran, if I do put the video up. Just to give you a clue, she's been wearing nice sleeveless dresses throughout the recording - maybe one time it was shrouded with an overcoat, but otherwise, she gets a really good costume change.)
