Et c'est aujourd'hui !!

Today at 10:40, I'll be sitting in the preparation room in that place, and at 11:40, I'll be presenting my prepared speech. Pray for me ! Please ! By the way, before I turn in to bed, I'm placing some pictures of what I did with myself the entire night. Maybe you might notice the difference. Or maybe not. But just to give you guys clues, I took a long shower and did up...

...my hair (at least it doesn't look unkempt anymore)...

... my face (note : this is my very first time using Hazeline Snow for a moisturiser ! It's damn good !)...

... and my nails. Since the skirt I'm wearing later is brown in colour, I thought I'd play with a little metallic brown.

But honestly, just getting my nails done was torture. I spend fifteen whole minutes trying to open up a bottle of clear nail varnish, and after that, applied, waited for twenty minutes before that thing dried - and noticed that some parts were missing. And so I had to reapply. Then came the colour part. That was even worse. I applied it rather sloppily that I had colour all over my skin. First coat done, and some parts of my nails weren't covered. So I took out some Cutex, a cotton bud, and painstakingly removed all that colour from my skin. And I realised that my ring finger was always getting in the way of my pinky, so much so that the colour kept getting on my skin - I got fed up, did one last coating and left it.

All this took me a good two hours. That too, excluding the time I spent online and typing on Yahoo ! Messenger, and on Blogspot.

P.S. But honestly, you know what this reminds me of ? It reminds me of the 26th of August, the day before mom died, where one of her best friends came over to see her, and I gave her what would have been her final body massage. I remember full well I gave it my all. And I know she felt good. Today, it's like the final chance for me to pamper myself before crunch time comes.
